Hi everybody. My apologies for being AWOL the past month.
Some of you know that I got sick Resurrection Sunday and was really sick with a cold for 2 weeks. In the middle of it all, I began thinking maybe I should have bought stock in Puffs and Hall’s Cough Drops.
I am still battling a cough that is mostly from an itchy throat; but it is noisy and disruptive. Have not been to church since Sunrise Service on Resurrection Sunday. Missed the Mother’s Day BBQ at church but did get to go to lunch with my youngest stepson and his fiancée and his future in-laws.
Now it is playing catch-up with housework and gardening and yard-work. The outdoor work is way behind because we did not get much done last year due to my appendicitis. Now we have 2 year’s worth of weeds to get rid of, and mulch to put down. Thankfully we know of a few locations where the mulch is free and relatively nice to look at – there are some larger sticks that did not get ground up well, but all in all it is OK.
Not sure how often I will be posting the next few weeks, but will try to find the time to come visit.
