Has it Really Been a Month?

I cannot believe it has been a month since I last posted.

The days are flying by and things are hopping here.

Praise God the lingering cough has gone and prayerfully will not return.

We have gotten some of the neglected gardening done, with much still to do.

We had a tiny visitor this past week — a baby fawn, only slightly bigger than a cat, came wandering through the overgrown garden that is still waiting to be tended to, then ran and hid in some nearby bushes.

This past weekend we spent celebrating the marriage of my youngest step-son.  It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful reception.

I am still trying to find the time to come visit all of you; but toddler lessons are taking on new meaning and use up most of my day.

And of course, this Nana is loving every  minute of it.

The struggles of the winter months have become a thing of the past and I am taking it day-by-day, minute-by-minute, praising God for His strength and love.

The Lord has been so faithful, blessing our lives with many things that have just been passing thoughts and wishes over the past year; leaving me feeling so blessed and thankful.

I am still hoping to get time to write about all the lessons learned through those dark days this past winter; but time seems to be hard to come by at the moment.

Prayers for your day.

    • Hi Patti. I had never seen such a small fawn either. He was such a surprise in our garden. We are doing things a little at a time, both of us feeling our age when we do too much. 🙂 But praise God He provides enough strength to get the work done and guidance through the process.
