CHECKING IN

Good morning to all of you.

This will have to be short and sweet because I am supposed to be cleaning my “scraproom/office”; but decided to check in and say “Hi”

This is the first time I have been on the internet in more than a week.  Things are extremely busy here.

Hunting season just ended yesterday; but there is no venison in our freezer.  A very frustrating month for Bill.  When he saw the deer out in the woods they were too far away to get a good shot, but then saw them standing in open fields on the way home in the evening.  As I talked to him one day on the phone as he sat in the woods, I looked out the front window and there was a deer standing in our neighbor’s driveway.  I had to laugh but he didn’t see the humor in the situation.

Patti, you will be disappointed to hear that the little bit of snow we have gotten has melted clean away.  Aww, well . . . .  still working on Bill to let you ship all of yours up here when you get any, but he is still not going for it.

On a more serious note . . . . I am waiting for my son to call and let me know how the healing is progressing.  Last I talked to him, he was having a good day and the pain was not too bad.  Praise God!

I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning to get my own shoulder checked out. Praying I don’t need surgery also.

Well, must get back to work.  Have errands to run in a few hours and will run out of time if I don’t get going.

Have a blessed day.

    • Hi Noel. We are really busy here taking care of our little granddaughter through the week and have almost no time for internet or writing. I am going to try to get back on here more often, but my scraproom/office has also been turned into the ‘nursery’ complete with crib, and when she is not needing attention, she is in here sleeping. Also, my shoulder is giving me a good deal of trouble and typing doesn’t help it. Thank you so much for stopping in. God bless.

  1. Good to see you, Drusilla. We’ve no sign of snow yet, so you keep working on Bill. 🙂 Hoping for good reports on your son and your shoulder. I thought it was funny about the deer, too–but keep it under your hat.
