Sounds in the Sky

I have re-injured my right shoulder and it is affecting my right arm and hand.  I am in pain 24/7, and numb from neck to fingertips most days – as if I had a very tight ace bandage wrapped around my shoulder that was cutting off circulation to my arm and hand.  I am not sure how much I will be posting for a while, but have been thinking about this subject and wanted to see what you thought …

About a month ago I received an email with links to some videos of recorded sounds coming from the sky and a compilation of all the things that have happened the first part of the year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk-3MU-rc0M

Having some knowledge of End Time Prophecy and believing in the literal fulfillment of those prophecies, I wondered at the authenticity of these videos.  I listened to numerous videos, each one from a different area of the world, but could find no definitive answers to whether these noises are hoaxes or genuine, or what is causing them if they are genuine.

Then, a couple weeks ago I heard what sounded like a combination of the wheels of a tractor-trailer humming on pavement and one of those alpine horns that they show in a cough drop commercial.  My husband said it was a truck on the other side of the lake, but it didn’t diminish and fade like a truck would have; but continued for about 5 or 10 minutes before abruptly stopping.  I’m still not sure what it was we heard, but the similarity to the sounds in the videos makes me wonder.

A couple days ago I received the link to the video below, and I thought I would share with you and see what you think.  I personally like the thought that these noises are a warning from God to get our attention.

Post-publication note:  If you are intrigued by these sounds, please read Lyn Leahz’s comments and follow her links to read more articles on what has been happening.

  1. Interesting..goes with your post http://www.prophecyinthenews.com/sounds-out-of-heaven/
Also, I found this and am copying it here: “A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.” (Jeremiah 25:31). The Hebrew word for noise is defined in Strong’s Concordance: “shaon: or din, clamor, big noise, roaring, rumbling, tumult.” The sounds people have been hearing all over the world have been variously described with exactly those adjectives. Strong’s further defines the word shaon, “a roar of many waters as in simile of noise of invading host.” Further, the infinitive of the word is defined as “by implication, destruction — horrible, noise, pomp, rushing, tumult”. Horrible. Yes. You will remember that the host are the armies of angels, both the good ones and the fallen ones. In none of the cases where the noise was heard and recorded did it sound like a pleasant noise. The noises are not named Sounds of the Apocalypse for nothing. Interesting. All I know for sure, and I am positive most fellow Christians feel the same way, is we are the generation. Strange things are to happen in this day. God bless you Drusilla!

        • You’re welcome..I just hope my final comment doesn’t turn you off…I’ve always been VERY closed minded about even hearing any other theories on pre, mid, post trib…I was raised Baptist (am non denom spirit filled now) and was always hardcore pre trib. But I started realizing that i wanted to know all angles…post is tempting in its explanation if you don’t know God’s word very well, but if you do, it has ALOT of holes and not much support. Pretrib has a few verses, and that’s it…but they, according to what I have now studied, are VERY misinterpreted. Mid Trib is filled with supportive scripture that backs it up clearly, and one can’t deny it when they read it. I understand noone wants to go through any of it…but we very well might go through some of it. The first half of the tribulation, except for the earthquake in the end, is not God’s judgment on the world anyway..it is the opening of the seals of His judgment and wrath. These things are what happens as the seals are opened. It is better explained by John Shorey than myself..you’ll just really need to read it to see what I mean. I am probably mutilating his explanation! LOL A lot of people get mad and are quick to discard anything else..they don’t want to hear it..I’ve even been that way before in times passed. My mother strongly urged me to read it, and so with a closed mind at the very beginning I did, but then I realized I could not deny what the man was showing me in the Bible.

  2. Of course science always has an explanation, but let me say this please; God, throughout time, takes the natural and uses it in the supernatural. For example, when Joshua and the thousands of men were told to march around Jericho for seven days and on the seventh shout and blow the trumpet, God knew they were tromping around on a major fault line. Science discovered that around the time the Bible History says Jericho’s wall fell, a great earthquake had happened. So God knew seven days of thousands of men marching, shouting, blowing trumpets would cause the earth to tremble. So He used the natural in the supernatural. Same thing with Sodom and Gomorrah…a volcano sits next to the area where it is believed this town was. Around the time Bible history claims Sodom and Gommorrah was destroyed by fire and brimstone, the volcano erupted and rained “Fire and brimstone”. Coincidentally, the Dead Sea, where it is believed Sodom and Gomorrah is beneath, is high in pillars of salt and sulfur. Here’s the link to the scientific explation of the strange sounds; then again, most scientists do not believe in God and are always trying to come up with something to discount God’ miracles; and if they’re right about what they are saying, we know and can prove, as I’ve mentioned, God uses the natural in the supernatural. http://www.ghosttheory.com/2012/02/08/scientist-says-strange-sounds-are-real-is-there-a-cover-up

  4. This is just an interesting thought as I was reading..who is to say that the dead aren’t being raised right now…they are taken first..the dead in Christ..if these trumpet sounds are real…remember, they go first, we are taken at the LAST trumpet!

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Note, ANGELS, to the ends of the earth…that would mean trumpets. Since the dead are raised first, like I said, it’s just interesting to think about..I could be way off…I’m sure. But interesting.

See here, the Bible does not give us an exact time frame between the dead in Christ rising and the people who are alive being taken..we only know the dead are taken first.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Is it possible that the dead in Christ are being taken now? And our time is very near?

    • Interesting question. I have always believed that the rapture will happen all at once – “in the twinkling of an eye”, but you’re right. It really doesn’t specify if there will be any time between the dead being raised and the living. This does bring up interesting points. I guess we’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?

      • Drusilla, read the book by John Shorey, The Window of the Lord’s Return. It is so biblical you will literally drop your jaw to the floor. I think there may be a lot of things that we just won’t know until it happens. I have always been die hard pretrib..but after reading his book, I’m leaning more toward mid trib because everything he writes is 100% supported even more than pretrib interpretations. I went ahead and read it becauase I don’t want to be ignorant..I like to research things and know every perspective, as long as it is Bible and truth based. I don’t get into false doctrine. I am really wanting another brother or sister to read this book by him and give me some feedback. It’s not a very long book. http://www.tribulationtruth.com There are quite a few areas where prophecy scholars were wrong; if we’re wrong in our assessment of pre trib..wouldn’t you want to know so you can be prepared? Who are we to think we will escape all of the trials and tribulations when Christians from the beginning have been suffering? Post trib, definitely not. Pre Trib vs. Mid Trib..leaning more toward mid now. Again, his book is dead on with prophecy. Every Christian should study to show themselves approved when it comes to things this important. I urge anyone to read his book and then please tell me your thoughts. Would love to hear them! God bless you sister!

    • Note: It does say, “…shall be caught up together with them in the clouds…” But what does that mean? Couldn’t that be later? Isn’t it possible when He comes for the living who will be transformed, that they too shall be with Him (our loved ones) to greet us in the air? Like I said, it’s JUST an interesting thought.

      • Of course it does. Don’t know why I forgot that “Together”. 😦 There are so many thoughts on this, so many beliefs. Like I said, we’ll just have to wait and see because we all can’t be right.

        • I agree. I’m the kind of person I like to think about these things and say “what if this” “what if that” I love thinking about the things of the Lord. I am sure we will all have our answers very soon! God bless you!

  6. I asked my mom her thoughts about these “noises” if there was anything in the Bible. This is what she said: Yes, in Corinthians, I believe, where Paul says that “at the last trump we shall all be changed, etc.”; this is believed to be the sound of the Shofar (ram’s horn), which was always a call to war, it went before the Israelis like the banner of God. Some believe that when the rapture happens, it will be at the sound of the shofar that calls the believers home. I’m sure there are other references, but that one is the first that comes to mind. There are many references to it in Revelation, also. I haven’t watched the You Tube link yet, but I will.”

If John Shorey’s interpretation is correct, this would give strength to my question I posed above about the dead being raised and the time gap in between…They are raised FIRST (Does first mean before the start of the tribulation, assuming we don’t go until the 3-3 1/2 year mark? Remember God is a God of numbers..Jesus was raised in three days, and on the third day, He was in a spirit-body. Will we get our spirit body on the third day (third year)?

      • Lyn, the first sound in this video, that has the guys in the orange vests and hard hats, that is what I heard, only it didn’t fade in and out like this video. It stayed steady for 5-10 minutes, then stopped abruptly.

        • Yeah, we heard a sound like in the video. He thought it was a truck; but it sounded really close to what is in the videos and did not fade out like a moving truck would have.

  10. Dru, I too have heard “strange noises” thinking they came from local stone quarries or gas drilling sites. I never thought of the trumpets of heaven. This should make us think about those close to us who have yet to make a decision for Christ? We have work to do!
