After much thought, I have decided to stop posting on Saturdays, at least for a while, anyway.

There is just too much going on.  And, as I have said before, there are so many blogs to read, I just can’t keep up.  At last count I had over 1,300 emails sitting in my inbox awaiting my attention.

Family obligations that need taking care of, outside demands on time and attention.

A loving, fun 9-year-old grandson that we are blessed to have for a little while in the afternoons.

A precious baby granddaughter that needs a little time with her Papa and Nana on the weekends.

And, of course, we take all of that time that we can get.  🙂

Health issues for both my husband and I are taking more thought and time to figure out than existed previously.

So much has been going on, my exercise routine is now almost non-existent again. The weight loss is only 1/2 of what it should be.

I haven’t been able to work on my scrapbooking or cards since January – hence a shortage of material for my Saturday Scrap posts.

My manuscript hasn’t been touched since last fall.

On most days my house looks like a mini-cyclone hit it.

The only tweets my Twitter account gets are the notices for what gets posted here.

My mind is scattered in too many directions at one time to be functional and alert.

Bear with me while I struggle to get my act back together and get things re-organized.

Prayers and blessings to all.   “See” you Monday.

    • Thanks Butch. I had thought that by posting pictures, cards or scrapbook pages I could post Saturday; but with the busy schedule, I ran out of things to use and haven’t had time to create more. I think it was your’s and Bonnie’s decision to stop posting on the weekends that kept popping up in the back of my mind and finally nudged me into doing the same.

    • Thank you Greg. I don’t remember being this busy, or feeling this unorganized and confused when I was working full time. But then, I didn’t have so many different demands on my time then either. Praying for clear, organized thinking and planning. 😉

    • Thank you Pastor J. I keep wondering what I am doing wrong – wondering if I am missing what the Lord is telling me to do. I ask in the morning what I should do with my time that day, and inevitably, by the end of it, I seem to have gotten nothing done but a lot of running around. It is quite frustrating.
