In 2007 we got a request from Anita-Marie, our granddaughter in Rhode Island to help her with a school project.  When we agreed, we were sent her Flat-traveler doll in the mail.  We had great fun including Flat Anita-Marie in our every day lives.

I made a scrapbook of our adventures for Anita-Marie to take back to school with her when she came to take her flat alter-ego home with her.

If you want to read the story, click on the pages to make them bigger.

Grampa really did not appreciate being included, but hey, it was for a good cause.

We did quite a bit with our visitor, and I think she had a good time with us.

Kayla had so much fun with her new friend.

Thank you for stopping in to share in our Flat Traveler’s adventures.

  1. Oh how unbelievably cute!!! Oh how sweet!!! Beautiful grandchild and husband… Fun in the snow … A doll, and your Kayla. Heaven! Thank you so much my friend, Melissa

  2. The flat traveler is a wonderful idea, don’t know where it originated, but my daughter had a flat visitor at her house, once. How sweet of you to make a scrapbook for her!
