SATURDAY SCRAP — KAYLA

Thursday would have been Kayla’s 12th birthday.  So today I decided to share the pages I did for her in my favorites book.

These pages are from the album I started on Kayla:

Whether the following is scriptural or not, I love the sentiment.  It was sent in a sympathy card from our veterinarian.

    • Hi Debbie! I take it you have internet access today. Glad you were able to stop by. Yes, it is sad and sweet at the same time. She was my baby, and I still miss her like crazy. Will be coming by to visit you soon.

    • I’m sorry Jeanne. I remember how raw my emotions were after only a month, how much it hurt to think that she was not here anymore. Even now my heart aches. Thursday was difficult, and I know when we get a really good snow, it will be hard because she loved it so.

  1. This is wonderful, Drusilla. We relate with your loss here at our house. Our dogs, cats, donkeys, sheep, llamas, goats, horses, cows, pigs, emu, etc.., are family (our son has grown up and moved on, so these guys get some really special treatment). I love the ten commandments. God bless.

    • Thanks, MT. She was my Christmas present in 1999, when she was just 4 weeks old; and we were almost inseperable. She always knew if I was upset about something and would come up and put her head on my shoulder like she was trying to give me a hug. She was the best dog.

  2. Hi Dru, how very much our 4 footed friends become part of our family, it’s been just over a year since Petal died but she is there in my heart like your Kayla is in yours and always will be, each Pet has there place.

I think your remembrance to Kayla is beautiful, thank you for sharing it with us, she looks very much like Niger one of my childhood dogs, he was so faithful and would let us kids do anything with him including dressing him up, I’m sure he laughed when we laughed at him in all his finery.

Thanks again my friend – Christian Love Annie
